was at the manchester hein gericke on sunday and the guys were looking out at my bike. (still covered in mud and crap from my short offroad stint at the national!)

"wow it's dirty do you actually take that thing offroad?"
"er . . yes" (neglecting to say that the bugger broke down a mile in to the offroad!)
"good to see someone not scared to take them where they belong"

i left the store elevated from ordinary Z to master of offroad adventuring

the feeling didn't last!

but on the upside i told them all about XRV.org - they seemed impressed!
