    Varadero 2008

I haven't looked very closely on this forum, but i found a nice picture of the varadero 1000 with ABS, 2008 model .. inspired by Transalp ?? Swedish Honda Dealer ...

    http://www.hondamc.com/homc/template...l____9447.aspx

see attachment. this will be my next bike when Transalp is ready for replacing for bigger and more powerful ...

What is the ideal age/km of a Varadero when buying second hand ?

Just a new colour for 2008.

    I'm a fan.

However it was July before we saw the 2007 bike in the shops over here, so i'm not holding my breath.

    Re: Varadero 2008

It is solid as a rock, no worries. We own a 2000 MK1 (carburettor) with 120.000 k on the clock and it still feels like new.

My current '04 ABS has done 50.000 k.

    Leave the first '03 series.

And have you considered the new Transalp 700? I have driven it for 1.200 km and if I had to buy a new bike right now, right here I can't think of any reason why I should pay € 5.000 more for a Varadero with same specs...
