Mine is a kind of salty, corroded brown colour when I haven't cleaned it!

Nice bike though, the Beemer handguards look good. Are those Leo Vince's there?

Well, when I say haven't cleaned, I mean havent 'taking a photo for posterity' cleaned. It gets used every day, so in an effort to resist the salt and crap, it's been liberally coated in ACF50 and hosed down for 90 seconds (usually in the dark) every couple of days. Which keeps it looking much as it is here.

Those are indeed Leo Vinces, complete with 'don't tell the wife' sticker omission. The handguards are very good, although a bit of a faff to get lined up properly. Ideally I'd like some longer bar ends to take them away from my little fingers more, but they're certainly warmer than the originals, and give a bit more confidence when clattering Transit wing mirrors of a morning...

I fancy the cut-down rear guard next, but I need a spare to start cutting, they're rare on Ebay and I daren't phone Honda to ask about the price new...

When I clean it for the Spring*, I'll take some more photos, just for you

Although yours looks an easier mod - it won't need an alternative number plate light fitting. Just hacksaw and go?

Yup! It was actually like that when I bought it, but looks to have just been chopped off.
