    hard luggage

Just had the e-mail from touratech offering 10% off at london motorcycle show, which is typical first time for a few years i wont be able to make it. Also moto bins are doing 10% off on all hepco & becker gear until february.

The question is does anybody outhere know if there is much difference in quality between the touratech zega boxes and the Hepco & becker's?

Also is service better than touratech as i know touratech can be very very slow?

    Re: hard luggage

Touratech have been working hard to speed up things like response to questions and delivery. The bits I ordrered off them last year arrived quickly and service was great.

Not sure what boxes are better. I have H&B Expedition panniers - need a frame from my Vara - had them on my AT and they were good basic alu panniers - nice locks and catches - although not sure how the catches would stand up to lots of off road use they were fine even using SW Motech Frames with an adapter plate. H&B stuff turns up more often than zega boxes on UK and DE Ebay and go for less money.

    Hope that helps a bit!

    Re: hard luggage

I think so but I try and find out the german word for the item and serch on that e.g pannier I think is koffer

Looking at the pics helps too as you can see what the german is for the item and the year / model detail is often the same whether English or German...

You can use something called Babelfish. I've done it in the past to translate Germa & French Ebay pages and whilst it's not perfect, it gives you a pretty good idea what it's about. I cut & pasted the text just to make it easier to do (I'm sure there is a better way!). If you Google "Translation" it should come up (AltaVista Babelfish or something). I'm sure you get the idea!

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
