just got back this monday from a trip to tirol in austria, extremes in weather!!!!
fantastic trip, the grossglockner alpine pass is brilliant. done it last year in september, you can see the road goes through two tunnels with massive iceicles hanging down.

your righrt the beer is excellent, stayed in a fantastic bikers hotel,
www.iselsberghof.at the rooms were clean , but basic. the food was really good , we had three nights , all with evening meal and breakfast and all beers double room each 150.00 euros in total !!!! each person, (the second night being very late, putting the world to right with fellow german bikers, great fun !! one asked me " do you get off the island very often? "
time for bed then !
