Well done that man!!
Always remember to ride safe and keep your eyes open, look around you at what traffic is doing, not the two foot of road that is in front of you!!
Also remember to have fun, the feeling just gets better and better!!
Adam.
Well done !!
I'll second, third, fourth, etc all the above - one day you'll be going along and it'll dawn on you that you're just riding and doing all the right stuff naturally ( and hopefully not getting into bad habits).
I'd definitely second the idea of getting someone to mentor you - it'll help keep you on your toes and it won't feel as awkward when the time comes to have an examiner follow you your test.
Ride safe.
Keith.
Last night I got overtaken by someone on a scooter, a big one not a screamer, Although he was in and out between the cars not once did I see a Lifesaver.
Fantastic News
I know what you mean. I work in London so I see the scooter brigade whizzing about. I am astonished when I see them in skirts and high heels (and that's just the guy's! jk). No seriously, you see guys in flip flops, shorts and t-shirt whizzing about. The only sensible guys are on the bigger bikes (plenty of GSs about) with their full kit on, no matter what the weather is doing. Fast but safe.
cheers all, i admit it hasnt sunk in yet... ive already had a few of the family and mats "sucking through their teeth" that ive made the jump and got a bike! its funny the reactions from people.
getting the insurance sorted tonight, sorting the back garden/shelter for the bike tomorrow then off on my maiden voyage on sunday with my brother all day (with lots of stops!)
