Vara 125 interchangeable parts

Hi all. Got a problem with my boy's Vara back brakes - the bleed nipple broke (unusual eh). Has anyone ever checked if the caliper can be changed for any other model?
The CBR 125 looks very similar in the photos, takes the same pads & has the same size piston. Looks good, but would like to check?

Don't know aboout the CBR's caliper, but if you have a local, reputable motorcycle workshop nearby they should be able to help you with getting the old broken nipple out - they'll be sure to have come across this problem before and are likely to have a suitable stud extractor or similar. It might be worth having it replaced with a stainless bleed nipple - they're not expensive.

You may also be able to track down a spare caliper from ebay, but there's a risk there that the secondhand item may have a siezed nipple too.
