    ingtercom systems

OK might be wrong place for this but i am looking for a reasonably cheap (but not s***)intercom system to connect and charge my phone from while riding and listening to music.

Has anyone looked at or used the oxford bike mike 4 as this looks like it might be ok. Would love to go for a starcom but might be a bit out of my price range. Any help much appreciated.

cardo scala teamset bluetooth intercoms are on ebay for around £100, these will do every thing you want and more, except charge your phone but it is a piece if piss to fit a 12v socket to your bike and use a standard car charger. I have the FM version and I can make/receive phone calls, listen to music, listen to satnav directions, talk to my passenger and if you bought the Q2 version you could talk to another bike up to 500m away (if they had a Q2 also), and all this is perfectly audible at speeds INXS of 100mph. I hope all this doesn't MYSTIFY you. Personaly I wouldn't consider anything else

I did a three week tour of Europe last year with mine and used it the whole time I was driving for music, satnav ect and found I had to charge it every 2-3 days, which I thought was really good. I was concerned it wouldn't last a whole day when I set off so was well chuffed when it just kept working and working. I think the manufacturers times are on the conservitive side (which makes a change)
