Standard Screen

Right i can hear you all now... is he mad!
I have a taller touring screen on my dero and i hate it. Im 6ft 4 and the wind noise when riding 60mph+ is unbearable at times. If i duct down just a couple of inches its bliss all i can hear is my twin purring away...nice, trouble is this looks stupid and isnt practicle. If i stand up its noisy but no more than riding my Thundercat. I have an Arai which prob doesnt help the matter cos quite, they are not, but the wind seems to flow straight off the top of my screen straight to the side pods of my helmet.
So i have been trying to find a standard screen second hand, im either looking in the wrong places or people dont part with them?
Is there any one of my height had similar issues/solutions they can help me with, or anyone willing to sell me their original screen so i can try it out?

Original screens are on fleabay.de fairly regular
have you got the carbedero or injectordero the CBF600 screens fit the injectordero by accounts

I've got MRA vario which is better than the original but not perfect

Its a carbed one, 99, do check Ebay reg but to no avail
I have seen little flip ups for them, but they look a bit silly.

I have a spare original screen from my Va5.You will need to check if the locator holes are the same. If they are the same then you can have it and we can agree a price in the region of £25-30 delivered.
The only thing I will say is that the screen is ever so slightly crazed. It does not adversely affect your vision and there are no chips/cracks or MOT failing things wrong with it, that is if it is covered by an MOT like a car windscreen

I've just purchased a replacment standard screen for my 99 dero, changing the larger touring one that was on it.

Bought it here at M&P - http://www.mandp.co.uk/productInfo.aspx?catRef=565448 : £35 quid.

You're right, up to 03 they are non adjustable faired in with the nose cone. The MRA Vario adjsutable ones consist of a sliding top part but they are reputed to be on the thin side and vibrate above 130 kph.

03 on are slightly adjustable, two positions + 15mm in each position. Just sent all the dimensions to Madstad but not heard back from them yet. Does look very like the 600 CBF mounting but I can't get a hold of one to confirm that.
