    Question Cold Hands

    Having tried:
    1. heated grips (palms hot, backs of hands still freezing)
    2. thicker gloves (good for ten rounds with Mike Tyson but can't feel switches)
    3. muffs (warm, but horn operates every time I use indicator. Awaiting road-rage incident with Jack-the-lad who thinks I'm having a go)
Has anyone arrived at a solution to cold hands in sub-zero temps?

Sometimes I ride for a bit with my hand over the radiator for temorary relief. Might it be possible to capture this constant flow of warm air and duct it via flexible pipe to the rear of hand guards or into a less bulky handlebar muff?
    What do you think?

Sorry to say muffs, heated grips and summer gloves. Not what you wanted to hear but works for me.

It sounds to me like your only option left is try heated gloves, i think the exo ones are £120ish and gerbing a similar price but it sounds like the last option.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

    Buy a Car

Cold hands is part of biking, like getting wet, and getting knocked off

Muffs is the best thing i have found, takes alot of work to get them right but once you do better than not having them

Just had a thought, J bought Mabel a pair of HG neoprene over mitts, She said they were so warm she took the muffs off the bike. They're waterproof as well.

How about a pair of bike mittens, you look a bit stupid when you try to flick the figer at some ar** but the fact that the fingers are together means you can move them around and generate their own warmth

    Cheers Lutin
The bodge on your suggested website is food for thought. I'm going to give it a shot. I think a piece of pipe could be fitted under side panel to emerge through the black fairing inner, attach to underside of bars and into muffs.

    Re: Cold Hands

Try some silk inner gloves. They are warmer than other types of inner gloves and they are not bulky. If the cold still affects your hands when you have combined all the methods suggested then you may have problems from the vibrations that pass through the handlebars. If that is the case then try altering the weights in the 'bars.
