Useful information. I've heard lots of good reports about Hagon, but it's good to hear it confirmed by people who have used other makes.

    Re: Rear Shock Removal

They were very helpful and shipped the shock, progressive front springs and shock oil to Singapore for less than I was being asked for a Wilbers shock on it's own

    Re: Rear Shock Removal

I put a Hagon shock on mine last year which I'm pretty happy with, being a tight ass Scotsman I didn't pay the extra £150 or whatever it was for the remote preload adjuster, which means the shock has to be removed to adjust the preload .

How do you manage it? I've spent ages trying to no avail, I ended up losing the heid and chucking spanners about all over the shop, then spent ages trying to find them again

Can you transfer the remote adjuster over from the original Honda shock?

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread but my 2000 Vara feels like it needs a new shock as it feels quite 'wallowey' in the corners.

Personally i would say if they have to advertise they can't be much cop, if they were any good word of mouth would get around about how good they are.

I've only used K-tech for my offroad bikes and they are very reasonably priced and the difference is unbelievable
