Fuel leak from beather pipe from tank..help!

...Just been to the garage to put £20 in the tank and as I pulled out on to the main road the rear wheel spun up and it was a footdown affair!! I thought I had ridden over some spilt diesel but on a quick roadside checkover I found fuel being emmited from the fattest of all the breathers which comes from the centre of the three at the rear petrol tank. What would cause this to happen, I have always had a slight smell of petrol since I've had it (about a month). By riding up and down my drive I can cause it to leak and have re routed the offending breather OVER the Cam cover as opposed to the side..between the frame and the cam cover hoping that this would help...(to no availl) .......

    .....Any ideas ..... Anyone

Latest..... bike in driveway ..ignition off...sit on bike...push forward...stab the front brakes..fuel piss'es out of breather!
I have had the tank off a few weeks ago.... do the pipes from left to right, (as you are sat on it, looking down ).. thinnist one (Left) Fattest (Moulded shaped) middle. and a similar fat unmoulded straight pipe (Right)...It may be that two pipes the two fattest ones may be wrong way round! Please help if anyone has had there tank off an injection 2005 recently. If its not that I dont know whats going on!

    Looking from underneath
the left hand pipe is the breather hose
    centre pipe is the overflow
the right hand is the the air drain hose.....this should be disconected from a coupling down be RHS of the frame

I'm not sure which pipe dos what but the clue that I need to know is ....is the moulded pipe (the S shaped one) in the centre or the right hand side As you sit on bike..Sorry to appear thick but I am only "Semi Competent!" Thanks Snap.

I believe left and right are two different thickness's
so that sorts out one of the pipes, the S shaped pipe is the air drain hose reconnected to a coupling on the LHS this pipe should not be in the middle
any probs I'm online for the next 20mins or so

How full is the tank? Is the level below the neck of the filler or did you brim it? If you brim a tank with cold fuel on a warm day, it tends to expand and will pee out of the overflow.

Nah didnt brim it ...about 3/4 full ...I am almost sure I have got the pipes wrong under the tank. Gonna swap them round 2mor and crank it up and see what happens. Cant believe that its run for the last few weeks although it has usually 1/2 a tank full (weight) ...we will see

Have you trapped the pipe at sometime and split it?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
