Is there an equivalent of a super brace on a Varadero? Can't seem to find one on the web.
Also, I'm thinking of replacing the springs. Are the Hagon progressive springs the ones to get?

I got a response back from Superbrace:
Does anyone know of the details they are asking? I can send them images of the front of the Vara but am not sure on the rest. The attachment they sent:Good Afternoon and thanks for your interest. We don't have your exact bike on file. Do you know if your bike shares the same front assembly with any other Honda or Dual Sport? To be sure, can you measure the fork diameter in mm (approx. 1/8 of an inch below the fork seal = where the brace wraps around), distance center to center and verify any clearance issues (fenders, horns, etc). I have also attached a template for your reference. Any pictures would also be helpful as we weren’t luckily enough to have the Varadero here in the states.

i know they are 43mm forks, dont know what the pitch is though. maybe the same as the firestorm, or superhawk in americaneze? the varadero is only just being sold in the states this year.
on my abs va6 it looks like a brace would foul on the brake hoses and the wheel as it comes up, dont forget the long travel suspension.
telefix make an adjustable width brace
I use the Hagon progressives together with the rear Hagon on my 03 FI, works for me.
Difficult to be objective about them as I not long had the bike, steering scared the sh1te out of me, so I did the whole front end at once, headstock and wheel bearings as well as the forks. What a difference, phew.
Interesting that they are finally introducing the Vara to the Yanks after so many years, wonder what they will make of it, I believe it's was reintroduced to Australia at the end of 08 as well. It always puzzeled me that these are the two countries that I thought would have been the Vara's natural playground, long distance, high capacity, comfy mile muncher that can cope with varied road conditions. Guess Honda know better

i would have thought that too, but adventure trailies are very much a euro thing, they are catching on here in the UK but its still dominated by sports bikes, and in america your either a sports or cruiser rider with everyone seeming to have a crosser in the back yard
