Mine is showing a few flurry spot. Is it fine to cover it with a few coats of exhaust paint?

Assuming you mean on the vara. the vertical one on the left hand side is the fuel pump and the oil filter is on the right.
The finish on the fuel pump does seem exceptionally poor. Mine went all furry within a couple of weeks from new. I can't see how painting it would cause a problem but I'm not sure exhaust paint will cure properly without the high temps of an exhaust system.

Boris,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Fuel pump that is then.
I covered my bike all over with GT85 in winter, had a wash yesterday and wasnt very happy to see corrosions on there while the rest of the bike looks fine after clean (even the pump shield, which should have taken more cr*p than the pump itself, is fine).
Think the original paint on the pump is to blame.
Cheers
Lun
