the new Fuel Injection System?

hey iv found the Honda i want. its a 08 125 varadero with only 800 miles on the clock!!!! i was lookin at the stats compared to the models befor the 07 model and noticed the newer ones have the new Fuel Injection System?!?! what is this? whats it do for the bike? it must improve it somehow. im gettin the bike in July hopefully just thought id ask first.lol. any info is useful info.

Hello and welcome to the site. I've been running a baby vara for a year now and enjoying it.

The new models have fuel injection in order to meet emissions regulations, I think, rather than to improve performance. Power output is fractionally down on the carb'd models. Shouldn't really make a difference - except you won't drive along the road for half a mile before spluttering to a stop because you forgot to turn the fuel on
