Been secretly wanting one for quite a few years and finally did the deal 2 weeks ago.. Blackbird gone to a new owner and a Silver 09 XL1000 now in my garage. Just about got her run in with first service booked for this coming Saturday at Thundderoad, Bridgend.

You bet it does but I needed a change. Over the last 10 years I have gone from Blade to Blackbird then back to Blade and then to Blackbird again. With over 35 yrs of riding mainly 4 cyl machines it's certainly different.

Tuesday it is then... Weather permitting
Been out and about earlier, Maesycwmmer, Oakdale, Ebbw Vale over the mountain to Tredegar and back home via Blackwood. Upto 500m now, so good and ready now for its first service on Saturday.

Bedwas Tips, never been up there but looks high.. The road up from Ebbw Vale over the mountain was a eye opener, never been that way before. Would not have gone on these types of rds with the Blackbird
