SD01 fuel pump similar to AT pump?

hello All,

I have been lookig at replacing or restoring my SD01 fuel pump. Now it looks the same as the fuel pump for the Africa twin, that one is eassier to find and much cheaper. i am just not sure if the are similar in pressure and signal. They look identical to me and i assume they are the same but maybe someone here can confirm this??

Thanks Pete,

There is a modification possible to the old pump, adding some resistors or something and renewing the points.... done by a german. This means I have to send my current pump to germany to have it modified and since i do not want to miss my bike for a while i thought about either putting in a facet pump or get another original one for the duration. The ones for the AT are not that expensive and easier to exchange...
