Varadero with faulty Fuel Pump - Facet install report

Hi All,

So my beast had the problem with the faulty fuel pump and I have changed the pump with the Facet Fuel Pump bought from Rugged Roads.

This is the install report:
Fuel Pump ‎(Honda XL1000V Varadero)‎

Until now - 1000km with no problems.

Wihar glad it fitted OK. Your instructions are brilliant, can I be really cheeky and ask if we can use your fitting instructions on our website at Rugged Roads as we have only ever fitted them to Africa Twins?

WEll done that man - brilliant write up and pictures - looks even easier to fit one to the Vara than it does to the @

Glad to see someone else has tried it and succeded. I was wondering if the Facet pump would do the job, as the OEM pump on both the @ and the Vara look identical (cant find Vara part numbers to compare to @ ones, but I'd say it's a safe bet that they are the same).
