Baby Vara 06 - Squeaky Bottom

I'm getting a squeak from the rear - somewhere low down. It's only really noticeable when I get on the bike and bounce up and down. I've oiled every blasted place to no avail... Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    2 possible answers

1 don't bounce up and down
2 are you sure its the bike and not squeeky knee joints

more seriously have you lubed the shock absorber fixings?
or is it the brake sqeeking (don't lube the brakes)

    good luck

1 - Is not such a daft suggestion as it's only noticeable when the engine is off and I'm getting on/off the bike - so probably isn't an issue.

    2
    - I think I've oiled these (top and bottom) - I'll have another go tomorrow as it may take time for the oil to penetrate. NB - the bottom right seems easy to oil (small gap) the bottom left is tight as a gnats... maybe I should take a picture.

    2 sugesstions:.........

1: Loose some weight, won't bounce so much then = less noise

2: DO the suspension linkages require greasing

Probably a suspension linkage, oh why don't they use grease nipples any more? Well possibly a sexual thing???? Hmmmm, more likely to be a money thing!

Never mind, I reckon it'll be a creaky linkage, you might need to remove the bolts to get them lubed, take your time and jack up the bike as it'll land on the deck if you remove the bolts! Clean, grease and refit and you'll then be a seasoned biker doing your own maintenance! Of course you could pay the shop to do them and you'll then be a seasoned sucker! Your choice mate, you pays your money,,,,
