    yes please boris.
a bit obvious but can you also state what make they are please? i may invest in some in the new year but i dont know which looks good or which look like giving the best protection. ive noticed the ones for carbed models have a higher fitting point than the Fi, some brands may look good but dont look like they offer a lot of solidity

OK Here are the Givi ones on both a blue 05 and a silver 07 bike.

    and

The 07 ones fit the lines of the fairing better than the 05 ones do. The only noticeable difference in fitting being the brackets that go the belly pan / sump guard.

I also had experiences with two sets of the Givi bars I ordered turning up damaged in the post due to poor packaging by Givi.

Extra points for recognising where the first photo was taken. The croft in the background should provide the necessary clue.

Are you sure? I thought the bracketry was different on the bellypan. I wish I knew that before as the bars follow the lines of the fairing better on the 07 bike (silver one above)

OK Just checked with some photos I took last year and the 05 and 07 bars are def a different fixing at the bellypan. As far as I know the 03 and 05 bikes are the same.

See attached. Notice how the lower bracket on the 07 drops vertically and on the 05 it goes back horizontally.

    not for an inferior product?

either givi are good, or SMmotech and H+B are hard to get hold of. i dont think hepco+becker do theirs anymore, they arent on the website, just luggage now. look a bit clompy anyway. SWmotech ones have a big unsupported loop that looks like it would fold up easily in a , so givi it is if i can afford it, just decided to go to northern spain again next year so its time to start saving.....

    cheers for the answers guys
