    Quill exhausts

Got the Quill cans ordered at the NEC in November finally fitted yesterday. Fookin' loud they are too, and a splendid job. They dyno'd the bike too....peak power at back wheel is 81bhp at 7,600 rpm and 71ft-lb of torque at 4700rpm. Both curves are very flat. Air Fuel mix seems a bit erratic but is mainly on the rich side.

The line starting at 30 is bhp, the one at 60 is torque. They looked at the curves and said it should be a very nice bike to ride.

Pictures when we get some sunshine.

They're good bunch of blokes at quill, I rode up there this time last year with a mate of mine for them to fit a pair of titanium cans to his tuono and they did a cracking job, I believe wigan chris also had his can on the AT fitted there and I have since fitted a Quill to my AT Actually I was quite taken with the Yoshimura cans they'd got hanging up there (just not the price)

Nice useable max torque / rev range 4.5 - 6k and sweet spot at 5k

We set my old SP1 to produce it's max torque (84 ft lbs with the raised underseat cans) from 5kto 8.5k revs and it was a peach to ride when I put it back on the road. And with one tooth less on the front sprocket it would lift the front end in 3rd without the clutch just by winding it on hard

02 RD07a RWB, Powerbronze tall screen, Remus Grand Prix, TT crash bars, TT pannier frame, Zega style panniers, Alpos top box,TT bar risers, TT headlamp guard, Heated grips, mainstand, Heidenau K60s for road and light offroad, TKC80s for the dirty stuff, Scottoiler, Autocomm, TT Zumo mount, Zumo 550 and most of all A BIG GRIN !!! Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica
