    Hi AJ, battery for Lynns f650 was 48 quid for a Yuasa and 36 for a pattern,and yes it was toast ,as you say,even though it has been on optimate for the year.
    Still its ok now

    Cool, I don't think the extra for the Yuasa is worth it, I just went for the pattern, was actually £29.50 from our local dealer. Hopefully it'll last longer than a year!
    Surprised the optimate didn't keep the plates from warping? Or was it your optimate that packed in? The one that was worth more than my Kawasaki? ,,,,, Never mind,,,,, I've been getting ragged for a comment I made on optimates last week!
    Better luck with your new battery, Fiona's one's in the cupboard until March, no point in killing it prematurely!
