    Fork Gaiters

    Has anybody fitted fork gaiters? If so where did you get them from?

    put em on my SLR and Vigor, i have a set of suzuki TS50 forks here that prove their worth, above th gaiters rusty and pitted under the gaiters immaculate,

    fitted some today. perfect fit. got them off ebay. £9.99

    They do look quite good! Somehow suit the style of the bike.

    How did you fit them? Drop the forks out of the yokes. Or are they split on one side?

    I just dropped the forks. Very easy to do with the centre stand. I've just cable-tied the tops. The bottoms are a great fit and don't seem to need any securing. I'll just cable-tie them if they ride up. I had to put a hole in them to stop any vaccum. I did this by heating up a bit of metal and sticking it through on the rear side at the top. Ebay link below.

    they are really good at keeping the fork legs clean, which helps the seals live longer too.
