Hmmmmmm Suzuki use the same method of painting

their metallic colours are all based on the same silver, then a clear lacquer is blown over the top, silver is hard enough to match but the lacquer is a real pain,
I have got a few panels that are knackered to repair and respray as a winter project. I’ll keep the originals to resell the bike with just managed to get the LHS so paint wise I have all the panels paid no more than €15 a time, but it has taken time.
I now have

LHS in Silver (broken lug and scratched), RHS in blue (cracked and scratched)
two rear cowlings (undamaged) if any wants the orange make me an offer.

mines in mute black metallic, it would be a nightmare to get painted to match so i wont bother. i'll wait a while to see if the right one crops up (stranger things have happened, i seem to have a history of the right part at the right time coming on ebay just as i need it) then after my hols order one from bigH. luckily there are no graphics and the metal "varadero" badge comes already on it
