    well, yeah, i guess its our fault for paying and not complaining but at least they are decent hardware. italians simply cant come to terms with paint finish, its 70's lancia syndrome all over again, but new guzzis have superb finish so they can when they want to

    right, last night i stripped the side of my bike to get to an annoying vibration from my damaged side panel, and yes, you do have to move the engine bar to get the panel off. but its not as bad as when fitting them for the first time, you only have to undo the top and bottom, and loosen the engine mount bolt so the bar can swing out of the way. you do not have to remove the PITA front bracket you can remove all the trim panels with that in place.
    looks like you could leave them in place for the tank, because you dont have to take the side panels completely off just loosen them so they spread.
