    Scottoiler installation

I got my hands on a second hand touring scottoiler, i have managed to attach the reservoir behind the number plate but looking for some advice/ pictures on attaching the vacuum and oil tube.

Due you have any pictures that would give me inspiration on how to run them on mighty Vara?

    Appreciated

Pick out your particular model from the drop down lists.

3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/34,000 miles ridden (of 57,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

    Thanks for the quick reply

I have been following this guide but it is generic and has no routing for the vacuum or the oil tube, looking to pick up some tips.

Mine had the Touring scottoiler fitted when it was new, but wasn't on it when i bought the bike. I put my old one from my Firestorm on it this was how i routed the deliver hose to the sprocket.

Thats where touring resavoir was mounted

Definatly working you didn't see the **** it sprayed over the wheel when i changed the tyres earlier this month. I think it was quite dry after i put the new chain and sprockets on it and then washed it but didn't oil it after. Bike did have a good clean after it got back from Northern Ireland last month

    Re: Scottoiler installation

Managed to get it installed with the vacuum pipe needing extending. The previous owner (thanks SteveT) hand ran clips across the swing arm and once I ran the oil pipe down the RHS ended up being a tidy job
