Question Changing the fork springs, question

I have a set of wilbers springs to put in the forks.

So for those of you who have done this before, is it really necessaryt to remove the forks from the bike?

Or jack up front of bike remove fork lowers, change springs, oil and seals and re-install?

If your changing the springs you will be changing the oil too, it's a bit more work but worth taking the forks out to drain them properly
