What's it worth?

Thinking of selling my AT, but not sure of it's value have looked around and prices seem to be a bit random! It's in pretty good nick, no dents, scratches etc, mechanically sound, remus exhaust, heated grips, 37,500miles (S) 98, just put it on SORN last week for the winter (my commute is too long for the winter!). How much do you reckon?

I sold my Y reg (2000) RD04a (I think) on ebay about 6 months ago for £3000. It was very clean, did have a small scratch on one of the panels but was standard spec.


As stumpy says it's worth what someone is willing to pay, it took me a few months to sell because I wasn't in a rush and was prepared to wait for a decent price for it. I was offered from £2000 to 2800 initially but held out for what I wanted for it and did get it.

So it depends on who wants one and how desperate you are to sell it

Sold my Y reg 2001 with 38K mileso n the clock for 2.8 (Full HSH)
Bike was in good condition and had been used for commuting day in day out.

My 97 with around 38K went for just over £2k, good but no-way near showroom nick.
