help needed please

Hi,

Can you give me an idea of what my 58 plate Alp700 is worth it has 5800 miles 1 owner, full history all the keys and is fitted with the following extras

SW Motech crash bars
Scottoiler
Oxford heated grips
Honda 45ltr colour coded topbox
touring and normal screen
HID light convertion
LED bulbs
Touratech bar brace
Touratech side stand extender
HRC carbon tank pad
Oxford tank bag

would it be worth selling as 1 item or splitting it up, hope this dosent break any rules but i could do with some idea. thanks Bunky

best bet to gauge a price is see what they are going for on ebay and Autotrader, should give you a idea but with all those extras should make a temting bargin for someone.

If you are subscribed sell it on here also , i not join its well worth the money.

some bits you could sell on ebay especially the panniers etc but crash bars best left on as extra.

good luck its not exactly the best time for good prices but you never know, try in the new year as private advert not AUCTION on flea bay to temt the water so to speak

You will generally get more if you take the accessories off and sell the bike as standard and the accessories individually. You may do well to register here (for a tenner) and list the bike and all the bits in the For Sale section.

I'd certainly take the HID conversion off unless it is a complete replacement headlight, reflector and lens replacement. The drop-in replacement kits are illegal to use on public roads so taking it off would avoid any come-back.

I agree with selling most of the accessories separately, you'll get more that way.

I'd estimate the bike without most of the accessories, but leaving on, say, the Scottoiler, heated grips and light mods, is worth around £4,000 in a private sale, assuming it is in excellent condition. People like to haggle so the usual thing is to ask a bit more. My estimate is what I expect you might actually receive if you find a buyer.

Technically yes you are.
You need to be a subscribed member to buy or sell.
It's only £12 for the whole year. Less than a tank of petrol for most people.
