    1990 AT Marathon Replica

Not entirely sure if I am selling up yet, its either that or she goes into storage until my wanderlust returns.

40620kms fully serviced every 4000miles and loads of receipts and history etc... originally from Spain hence its lovely condition.

Considering selling up as a whole package including the Ardcase panniers, Kriega bags etc..

    Any thoughts

Unhappy Re: 1990 AT Marathon Replica

    Please don't do it

Stick it back under the dust sheet and re-discover it next year .

Then and only then, if all remains as is, think about selling it.

Get something British to polish and ponder over and occasionally blat about your local roads on as an interim fix, as you intimated you might do in another post.

If you do not need the money, then do not sell, it would be difficult to find such a fine machinery again.

    Re: 1990 AT Marathon Replica

Ah man. This is really sad Don't sell it! If you don't need the money in your hand right away, think of it as an investment. RD04s in nice condition like that are probably getting in shorter and shorter supply so it's not like it'll be losing money (probably the opposite and with the interest rates the way they are at the moment you're not likely to make a lot of money banking it either).

But if you do I'll be gutted. If it was for sale just a few weeks ago before I started buying loads of bits for my bike, I would have taken your hand off!

If you do decide to split it, can I have first dibs on your cases?

Might still be interested in the bike itself too in more standard form if you end up selling the bits seperately (the luggage/rack, shiney crash bars, back fairings and screen I'm sure people will be lining up for and asking you about already).

    You should keep it though!
