    Another RD07 valuation.....

Mine's a '98 RD07 bought new by me. Sold by me in 2001 and bought back in 2003! It's now got 24.5k miles on the clock. Since new it's been used only in the summer and lives a very pampered existence. A Honda dealer recently offered me £2.5k cash but what's it likely to be worth on the 'open' market?

Ace looking bike. I've got exactly the same colour bike ('99 on a "T" plate), hence the next question . . .

What would you want for the baglux cover & bag?

As I've always been told, "If you don't ask, you don't get!"

PS - £2.5k from a dealer cash is a very good offer - got to be worth another £5-600 for a private sale

It would be sold with the cover and two bags!

Custom seats in Coventry. I had it done about four years ago having found the Touratech seat increasingly uncomfortable. I reckon that it's the best money I've ever spent on the bike as it's very comfy.

I tend to agree, dealer valuation is probably spot on for them, but Id put it up for about £3K with the intention of letting it go for £2,800. Just my opinion. Clean looking bike though

Its always worth sticking it a bit higher eg £3,200 looking for £3K. Im sure you would get it for a clean low (ish) mileage example. Got to be worth a go.

As a comparison, my 2000 RD07 in Black, with 11,500 miles cost me £3,250 about 3 months ago. It was a clean tidy bike before I got my hands on it though. And the seller wouldnt budge on price.

I don't suppose this bike is still available by any chance?

Probably not, however there is a very nice blue 2000 model, can't remember what the miles was, but it wasn't high, on Ebay at the moment.
