Question Very heavy duty inner tubes

Any one know where/if I can get ultra heavy duty inner tubes for a 17" wheel, transalp rear.
Getting 21" fronts is easy, it is the 17" I can't track down.

    Thanks.

Jen's had the same problem, she got a 4mm michelin for the front but the rear is now out of production. Bridgestone do a endurance tube but Jen can't find a supplier with one in stock. She's also heard that Maxxis do HD tubes.

If we eventually do find one we'll let you know.

Don't know if it's any help, but this might give you something:-

(skim down to Romvelo extra heavy duty inner tubes, think I saw 17" rears there)

From personal experience I would not reccomend dirtbikestore.com.I ordered a sprocket that didn't arrive despite countless emails and several phone calls it never got sorted out,I gave up in the end.Try Googling them for other folks experience of them.

i notice that roost racing lists the HD michelin in a 17" still so they may still have them or as usual M&P are talking crap about them not being available!!

I've used Longstone Tyres, both for 'square' sidecar tyres and for tubes for the TA. I bought Continentals and although they're not specifically heavy duty I'm sure I remember them offering a heavy duty one for the rear. I can't find them listed on the site - I ordered mine by phone:

Patient and helpful people to deal with if you don't know exactly what you want (which I didn't at the time!) and fast delivery too. Worth a call .

    Hi Mudwiz,

You've just reminded that i am still running an 18" HD tube in the 17" rear rim.

It's been in since we did the Ryedale last year!

    Chris,

are you going to the dirt-bike show? There are usually a couple of tyre companies there. I seem to remember buying H/D tubes before.

If it's any help I am going on Friday and could look out for you if you wish.

    cheers, Bob.
