    Tyre advice

Anyone had experience of fitting tubeless tyres to a tubed rim with a tube?
    what are the differences?
are there any drawbacks/hazards/reasons not to fit tubeless with a tube?
Are they harder to fit,is the bead different/harder to get on?
    Is the sidewall/tyre rubber different?

The bead angle differs between tubeless and tubed type tyres, tl 15 degees tt 5 degrees, but dos'nt really cause any problems. On trials bikes running at very low pressures sometimes the tyre can unseat, should'nt ever be a problem on road bike. My Michelin Anakees are dual marked. Just make sure the tyres have no heavy ribbing inside that could chaff the tube.

I've got in touch with a guy selling some TKC's.
but upon really close inspection(zoomed in on the pic) the label says tubeless.
I do run my TKC's down as far as 10-12 psi when in some really claggy lanes, and generally at about 12-14 psi on awhole when green laning. do you think it would be a problem?
I have ridden halfway to wales before I got got stopped by chad who thought i had a flat tyre, and I regularly ride home up to 50 miles on low pressures because i've forgotten to re-inflate,never had it come off the rim though but i've always had tt's.

At those pressures you should'nt have any problems with them unseating. Only thing you have to watch out for is overheating caused by friction. But ive done exactly the same on long distance trials on my TTR Yam with no probs at all. Conti do make quality tyres and this allways makes a difference.
