    Front tyre suggestions anyone

    Hi All,

My front tyre needs replacing (before TLD!!!). I have a Metzeler Tourance on now, and it's a good tyre, but it can get a bit wiggly when there's tracks in the tarmac...

I don't really do off-road with the tigger, just the occasional single track or gravel road.

It looks like it'll be the Tourance again, but I wanted to tap the collective wisdom of XRV for some alternatives...

    Many thanks,

    JB

    Hi Jeroen

I haven't got a clue but some one will be along shortly.

There was a listing done somewhere - may be a sticky in the AT section that might help

Look forward to see you again on TLD

    See you later

Tyres, there are quite a few threads on here regarding which types of tyre are best.
The consensus seems to be they are round and black and keep the wheels on the road.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Tyre choice is really a personal thing. Many people have their favorites which seem to suit them and their bike.

My choice is Conti Attacks, either Road or the new TrailAttacks . They stick like glue wet or dry and give me personally a lot of confidence...as i said though....they may not suit others.

Good luck with your choice JB..

Oh yeah Ktm fit them as std on their bikes..

Just ordered the TrailAttacks, knowing how you ride that KTM should be testament to their quality!

I'll let you know how I get on...

+1 on the Trail Attacks, I am now on my second set and they seem to work very well on the Tiger.

I had trail attacks on my last ADV and found them pretty good. However they were getting a little twitchy when they were worn. Ask J what he thinks cos he owns them now.
