Someone was asking about the tyre poll we used to run..... so here it is.

Not sure if it will still work.

could you do a tyre poll for each bike? im sure the results would be interestingly different between the lightness of the TA, the off road orientation of the @T, and the weight and 19" front of the vara
Unsure about a tyre poll, as you'll always get people who have favourites; me
When I had my Bandits, I heard, initially, that BT45s were great, then when BT020s came out, even better.
When I fitted these, I rode better, but I believe a lot of that was psychology.
I heard good things about Metzeler Tourance years ago and have been with them ever since; had Metzelers on my CB500 and CB750 years back.
So, Tourance were on my BMW GS for more than 30,000 miles; I do nod and wave
And now have them on my Transalp.
How good are they? Well, going through Italy, I chose the wrong exit from a roundabout and corrected it at the last moment. I leant the GS over so much that I caught my foot on the floor whilst on the pegs! That's leaning! Two up full luggage.
I love them.
My Transalp had an Anakee on the front before I replaced it and I have to say it was superb too.
Of course, I've just seen the poll, so ignore this thread!
Just like my mum said pointing to my head then my mouth - 'Learn to use that before you open that!'
