Poor handling ... Check Tyre Presure

OK troops confession, not checked my tyre pressure for ages, bike was feeling sh#t, cornering felt like the rear was sliding.

Checked the pressures, front 1.7 bar, rear 1.6 bar ... doh

Set both to 2 bar, new bike handles fab.

    Check your pressures, people

Check mine quite regular, especially before a big trip.

I normally carry round beneath the seat a small tyre pressure gauge and use it every time I fill up (just got in the habit of doing that), has pointed me towards a puncture and a leaky rim in the last 8 years

    Good routine Kymmy

I would have had the pressures right but I could not get the garage air line on the rear valve and thought sod it.

Also i have one of those Pen gauges, Ride recommend type, and it does not fit the front valve but does fit the rear

So getting the Halfords £5 one which was recommended by Ride. Live and learn.....
