There have been a few threads recently about tyres.

I myself am looking to buy a set, possibly before VAT goes back up, if buying from England.

Anyway, it is quite hard to seperate useful from useless information. For example having tyre reviews or surveys such as those listed in this week's MCN can be helpful to some, but stats such as grip as a % is not especially productive, as someone else pointed out.

Some reviews are in English, others not, and again there is this weird % system ... but there are a lot of tyres all on one site so you may find it useful, especialy if you check what the reviewer was riding (eg 3000KM for a BT45 tyre seems a biut low, then you see that the owner had it on an SL1000 Falco )

I was thinking of Avon Distanzias as they are so f-ing cheap, but then I think twisties and BT45s may be worth those extra few £££ after all.
