    12v compressor or cycle pump?

    hi all

getting the finishing touches for my french trip in may and found me old car compressor is too big.

so do I get a small 12v compressor for the pillow/air matt and hopefully never to be needed tyre puncture repair, or get a dual action small cycle pump with gauge .

those that have the cycle pump ? how long does it take to inflate a flat tyre to say 28psi?

or am I better gatting a 12v pump and stripping it down, I already have a 12v cigarette adaptor under th seat.

    cheers all

I've got a small mountain bike pump in my toolkit that has two settings - fast inflate and high pressure. The fast inflate works fine on m/c tyres. It's far less bulky than a compressor - plus the fact the CRM doesn't have a battery is an added factor.
