    the secret is making sure the opposite side of the tyre is pushed inside the rim as much as possible. I carry 2 small levers which with a couple of spare boots on tyres gets me by. although I have the bigger ones in the garage!

    lower edge against the rim , when removing and fitting

    i got half a dozen of these , and only use this type of lever , ive even fitted mooses with powdercoated rims , no scratches , no marks , no rim protectors ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, all good every time

    in fact here they are ,,,, powder coated rims , with mooses in the tyres ,,, fitted with me trusty cheapo levers ,,,,,,,,,,,,

    There selling 14in tyre levers in the pound shops now,saw them when I was in the UK last week.
