hello, do all rev counter's differ,or as long as the fittings are the same,they should work,or are the engine speed ratio's different?, i'm after something to fit my xl500,as can't seem to find an original. thanks mark.

Xl use mechnical unit so gearing is probably different from other manufacters but could be ok on other Hondas ,should be possible to fit electronic universal unit

Yea i'll give a sililar honda mechanical rev counter a go as i have the new cable for it. Bought a vapor unit for it but very dissapointed,not even shower proof and went wrong after six months. anyway cheers will!,i shall give it a bash

Ive had trailtech on xr 400 for about 3 years and still ok thats been under water and caked in c$&p regular , there are some acewell units as well very good but bit pricey , just get electronic unit universal type and connect to coil just make sure its for single cylinder , is this the one with cr front end i saw on ebay
