    newbie with an XL

    Hi guys,

I just bought the ting below to do Mablethorpe sand racing with...I have had a nightmare sorting out a spare engine and getting the one in the bike to stop smoking and go well. I did a search on google and found a thread started by someone else doing the same thing on the same bike. Thought I would sign up and see if he or anyone else was stil here.
Must admit, I've tuned the nuts off it with parts from the US and it really impresse me with its performance..have gas flowed the std XL head..but have a RS on the way...its has a 10:1 seizecho and a high lift cam...rest is std XL..apart from 5 plate RS clutch.

Welcome to the site, very nice looking bike you've got.

Can't think of who is doing sand races but then I don't venture in here as often as I should.

I thought these were all 500cc or am I thinking of grass track?

My, that is cute in a really funky sort of way!
Lovely color, too. Not very Honda-like, but lovely.
