    Another little problem, Oil light?

I noticed the oil light on my XL is not connected to anything now the engine runs fine but obviously the light is supposed to be there. I have not got a Honda manual for this 86 LM model only an XR. anyone now how it's supposed to work and were it's connected I can't see an oil switch anywhere on the bike, am I blind?

I didn't even know any XLs had an oil light!
Mine doesn't so it must be an LM thing.

Just had a close look at my speedo and the lights from the top go
    Indicator
    Neutral
    Hight beam
with space at the bottom for another light. Is it poss some model have an oil warning? Wouldn't surprise me as these speedos are used on many of the Honda range.
