Timing chain tensioner

Hi Guys,

Iv'e got a 1983 XL600R fitted with a Dommie engine, (kickstart only) i'm replacing the crank as the rod was damaged. Do i need the Honda tool for the Timing chain tensioner or is there a way of doing it without the tool, any help would be much appreciated.

I used an allen key and jamed a socket under it.

Thanks for your help, i'll give it a go, there's nothing like having an engine to rebuild over xmas, keeps you away from the mayhem!
