    xlr 250 exhaust

Hi ..ive taken exhaust front pipe off bike and found its rusted right through at the end so the flange part has come away..and looks unrepairable.

My local garage has said he cant get an after market part so would have to be special order from Honda Japan at...£320!!!!.

There must be someone in this country that does these???

    Im lost without the bike!!

    Cheers jon

Try phoning Tippets in Surrey they stock lots of parts, I once got an exhaust for an XL250 of which only 50 were imported into the UK.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

It can de repaired with a small length of pipe welded on and the flange welded to it.

otherwise watch ebay, . . . . particularly ebay USA.

Hello all i have fitted a predator system to my xl600 and its a great piece of kit. Comes with a long guarentee as well so worth the money. And they seemed like bike fans as well.

    Re: xlr 250 exhaust

Well what can i say ...3 weeks later and still no joy really WOULDNT recommend Predator Motorsport.

Ive emailed and phoned and had no replies they didnt seem to know anything about my order or when i could hope to receive it..even though the part was in stock when i ordered!

Took my money 3 weeks ago though
Phoned again yesterday and was told i should receive it any day now..but couldnt confirm as their exhaust builder was out and didnt know when he'd be back said he'd call me back but hung up before i could give him my number??!!!

    BE WARNED!!
