Push the piston out with all the hydrolics connected, clean and reassamble with new seals and some rubber grease.
And then put some pics up.![]()

The piston in the caliper could be seized, but on mine the piston was fine.
It could be that the pins on which the caliper are allowed to float are seized. If it is, you need to remove the caliper from the bracket and clean up the pins. This may be difficult. as it was on mine. I had to drill a hole in the end of the tube that the pin is supposed to slide in and use a drift to knock out the pin. It may be that only one pin is seized, but whether it is one or both, it mak take an afternoon or so to do it. In the seized state, the caliper cannot centralise about the disc, so one side becomes more efficient than the other, and hence the uneven pad wear.
Clean up the pins once you have it apart, lubricate with copper grease, and all should be well.
Duly noted.
Thanx.![]()
