I have already recieved some very helpful advice for which i'm very grateful, now for one other matter.

Having now got my 1983 import XL600R up to fully serviced stage I have had a couple of rides and I am a bit dissapointed with its performance. A lot of reports and reviews suggest the XL600 is really quite fast even to the point they try and wheely just off the throttle! Mine in comparison is a bit steady Eddy. I wondered if the import models are restricted in anyway??? One thought is that the extremly loud straight through exhaust can might not be providing enough back pressure? If so does anyone know where you can source replacement cans from?

Any advice on likely restrictions etc would be welcomed.
