CG125E trail ?

Hi bought a bike cheap other day has a loose vin plate says cg125e engine cg125e looks like a trail made road legal ie the rubber strapped lights no indicaters or indy switch bolt on chainguard etc needs rewiring i have the v5 just says honda motorbike 125cc what you guys think ie if i get a pull btw 82 reg wondered if they did that sort of thing could you legalize a trail bike then cheers Nick.

What do you mean by 'legalise a trail bike'?

Honda made trail bikes for road use since the late 1960s. I think your bike could be a home conversion, but it could be ok if it is since the CG125 has a pretty robust engine.

Hi Bill it does look like a home conversion the frame looks too big for a 125 the engine sits up tight at the front and there are two bracket from the frame supporting the bottom of the engine the frame id is a little loose and the log book doesn't have a model but frame id says cg125e just wondered about insurance for this one go ahead as a cg125e? your thought would be appreciated just wondered about the lagality of this one if i got a pull cheers Nick.
