Just to say hello, found this site when looking for xl600lm & came up in the search
Have got hold of an old 85 600lmf & hope this site may provide help when needed,as three of us plan to get the above bikes to do a three month trip in about 18 months & the standard large tank & tubeless rims ready fitted are a +

Re: hello my first post

bloke i got it off only had it a short time, & the spares were rotted fuel tank rear wheel with a bad brake drum & dismantled engine + some bits in a box for £100 so didn't bother previous owner had it 10 years i think do you know any history

Re: hello my first post

He must have sold all the good spares then.
I saw the bike in Wales a month or so ago when i picked up a frame and a few other bits, he never told me it was for sale otherwise i would have had it!
Don't know any history just thought it looked tidy and seemed to run very well.
