Re: XL600 LMF rebuild

Some work there, realy nice, wish i had the time and cash to do mine (too much going on and need it on the road soon). What have you done about the plastics??? mine are there (apart from the side panels) but are cracked or scratched??

Re: XL600 LMF rebuild

My plastics aren't to bad should clean up OK, however if i can find new side panels that would be better. Managed to get a NOS Headlight panel although its slightly different it will fit fine.
Hope to have mine finished in the next couple of weeks

Re: XL600 LMF rebuild

Love the work

The engine looks lovely with its coat of paint- top job

RE side panels: there is a guy on ebay called ray his business is enduro spares

his no is 07980549026 it may be worth ringing him up about side panels- he had a few lmf bits when i saw him about a month ago- could be worth your while.

Could you please forward that info you sent to midlife crisis to me- the manual (i think is was anyway) I have a haynes one- i do not rate it and it covers the full range of xl and xr 600s (didnt even have info on the dual carb setup) That would be a great help- anything i can do for you- let me know

Re: XL600 LMF rebuild

I only sent him the wiring diagram thats all he wanted.
I do have a Genuine honda manual and parts book for the lmf
i could copy the whole manual for you at the local printers but it wont be cheap its a big bugger, but i think worth it
if you only need certain sections i can do them at home for you
