Xl500 s / xl500 rc

As you may have read on my earlier posting , the cylinder head has cracked on my XL500RC.
Could anybody tell me if the earlier 500S head is the same,

Not 100% but I know someone who's used a pd02 head on a pd01 without mods.

Thanks once again Catteeclan. Have located a 500S head in the states and it should be winging its way over soon. Fingers crossed
Also got a standard bore wiseco piston coming from Australia and having new sleeve made to match as I couldn't get a new piston and the bore is 50 over and heavily scored. Hopefully one day I will be able to ride it.
Will keep you posted as to head fit,

carnt they repair the head ?.
bearing that in mind they have had my head the same amount of time and i only need valve seats replaced
